Various District 28
committees plan activities throughout the
spring, fall and winter seasons.
While most of these are
slated for members, occasionally workshops and activities
are designed so non-members may attend as well.
Retired teachers are
encouraged to join RTO/ERO and participate fully in District
activities, luncheons, trips, events and meetings.
It's a great way to reacquaint yourself or continue
fellowship with former colleagues.
In addition, RTO/ERO does
valuable work representing seniors and particularly retired
educators at the provincial and national level. This is a
vital part of RTO/ERO activities and benefits all retired
educators. Through membership in RTO/ERO you can commit to
this effort and help make it more effective on your behalf.
More information about
some of the District committees and their plans and
activities can be linked to the left or found in the current
copy of Dustoff found here.
