District 28 bursary programmes The District 28 bursary programme for needy & deserving Durham College students is funded by voluntary contributions of retired educators in the Durham Region. Donations can be made at any time.* Additionally, the 40th anniversary
endowment bursary, created in 2008, provides funds from investment income.
Donations to this fund can be made yearly. Recently, the Ontario government
has tripled the donation impact for contributions made during the
February--March period. The institution must qualify. Return at that time for
future updates. Donors should make cheques payable to
DURHAM COLLEGE & mail to: RTO/ERO provincial scholarship fund The RTO has a scholarship fund for close relatives (children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews) of members who are pursuing a career in education. Information and an Application form is available from the provincial RTO site. Other scholarships Johnson Inc., our health plan administrator, also offers scholarships for those holding one of their insurance plans.
